#sexism in a supermarket?

Checkout person was like "wooha!" towards someone in the queue, while speaking to whoever they happened to serve.
I asked the checkout person if they thought it was appropriate to treat someone as a piece of meat and ignore their presence at the same time. Checkout person said i was being ott. Replied with "confident you're intelligent enough to take the point on board".
Should i complain? perhaps reminding there are more interesting options?
