why do i think #accelerationism is too slow???
Whether one fancies #acceleration of the left/progressive or the right/nrx kind
the common link is something like:
Hey! there's a move in a certain Trajectory -
Lets make it faster
al-right/nrx claims human will end with capitalism -
enter the #ai
left/progressive claims capitalism will end through techs - eg #ai - that will end it's seeming necessity.
however you look at this,
since it fails to account for evolution's blindness.
Unless somehow acceleration is outside of evolution
an extra evolutionary development
then how does it account for evolution?
Processes that, staying with movement trajectories metaphor, may go - and do -
in any given direction?
Basically by saying that we may force evolution into x rather than y direction.
Just that, hold on,
that's not evolution.
development is a part of any given evolutionary process.
developments come within the said processes.
Since we may know that evolution will indeed kick in with it's blindness
#acceleration is too slow
since it will require
accelerations in multiple directions.
if we go out of the move - a d&g notion of trajectories in life -
ways across spacetime?
