Live toying from Westminster
The bridge is blocked. The square is full of people. Busses on the embankment are turning around. I see a police can, but no cops. People are chanting, "you shut down the parliament / we shut down the streets."
A lot of bicycle commuters criss crossing by the bridge. The crowd in this section is not big.
Live tooting from Westminster
Starting to hear sirens and see cops.
The crowd seems to be diverse in age (some children, nobody elderly that I can see) and gender. Between 70-80% white.

A child near me is absolutely delighted to hear his mum singing 'wanker'
Live tooting from Westminster
A lot of turnover in the crowd all of the sudden. I can't tell if it's growing or shrinking
Live tooting from Westminster
Bridge blocking crowd definitely shrinking. People were chanting 'general strike' a few minutes ago, but now seen to be heading off for the evening?
It's hard to tell what's going on as pedestrians, tourists, and chucker commuters are all moving through.

Two community support officers assist to be encouraging protestors to disperse, one at a time. Several people (maybe 10) have sat down.
I can hear cheering from parliament square.
Live tooting from Westminster
Sirens coming from across the bridge. It's an ambulance. Everyone is up.
Live tooting from Westminster
Threatened arrests have not dispersed everyone. I'm going to move on, however
Live tooting from Westminster
Much larger crowd at parliament square. Helicopters buzzing noisily overhead. Unfortunately reminiscent of some scary protests I attended in New York, however, only a few good back at the bridge (where traffic is still stopped) and only one I can see here from the corner of bridge Street and the square.
Live tooting from Westminster
The buses are being removed from the square. There are suddenly a lot of real cops scurrying around. They may be moving to kettle but the crowd is shrinking.
The bridge has reopened.
Live tooting from Westminster
Live drummer has started playing to massive cheers and some dancing.
Live tooting from Westminster
People continuing to arrive, but it seems like more are leaving. An ambulance passes through the protest, which steps aside. Now they're chanting, "save the NHS".
Crowd. barriers getting moved around to create voids
Live tooting from Westminster
Cops have moved off to a position kitty Corbett the protestors. A van pushed with them drove by, but didn't stop.
It sounds like the protestors are singing, 'no more budget for Boris', but that can't be right.
Live tooting from Westminster
Police and crowd both diminishing in numbers.
I don't know if there's any central organisation, but this has to be sustained of its going to have any effect. This and a weekend match won't do it.
